Electrolux updates its organizational structure

Electrolux Professional plans to make a series of organizational changes effective July 1 that will impact its restaurant business in the United States and abroad.

Specifically, Electrolux Professional will comprise the two reportable segments Food & Beverage and Laundry, with five business segments focused on customer categories and geographies: Food Europe, Food Americas, Food APAC & MEA, Beverage & Food Preparation and Laundry. .

With Alberto Zanata remaining as President and CEO of Electrolux Professional, here is an overview of the Electrolux Professional leaders who will lead each area:

  • Food Americas Business Area, Dave Herring
  • Business Area Food Asia-Pacific and Middle East, Europe and Africa: Richard Flynn
  • Beverages and Food Preparation, Philippe Zavattiero
  • Industry Laundry: Paolo Schira
  • Operations and Innovation Competence Center: Carlo Mario Caroni

While Electrolux Professional plans to appoint someone to lead its European food business, Zanata will handle this role on an interim basis.

Other members of the management team include Fabio Zarpellon in finance, Pia Hovland in human resources, Guilhem Senegas in IT and digital transformation, Carolina Tendorf in legal and Jacob Broberg in communications and investor relations.

Recent years have seen significant changes for Electrolux. For example, in February 2019, Electrolux announced plans to separate its Professional Products division from the company with the goal of creating two publicly traded organizations. Then in October 2021, Electrolux Professional entered into an agreement to acquire Unified Brands.

“Following the acquisition of Unified Brands in the United States, we see a need to refocus and simplify our organization in order to be able to steer our strategic priorities more quickly and be closer to our customers. With these changes, responsibilities will be clear and priorities simplified,” says Zanata.
